Baby Monitor

We've never had one, because when you're in 1000 square feet and your baby sleeps on the other side of the wall, you can always hear her. Emma rarely wakes up at night anymore unless she's sick, but since she'll be on an entirely different floor from us, I think it might be time to get one. Does anyone have a particular brand or model you suggest?

we have the sony baby monitor and love it! minimal static and seems to be durable. we take it everywhere on trips with us.

Wish I had a recommendation, but our tight quarters have never waranted one. :) I've heard others say they like the Sony one though.

ours is the sony baby call... love it. we didn't pay as much as the link above, but it looks like the same one. it has different frequencies as to not interfere with other electronics around it. you can plug it in or use batteries.. we travel with it all the time and haven't ever had a problem. good luck!

One feature that I particularly liked on our original one was that the reception end didn't have to be plugged in. Then I could take it outside and garden or move around with it like a cell phone (if I owned a cell phone and really knew what that was like).

I can't remember the brand and when it died I bought the first one available at Target.
