From October: The Arboretum, Again

See, I told you I went there a lot. This time we went with friends from Maddie's music class last year.

From October: Morning at the Arboretum

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know that the Dallas Arboretum is one of our favorite places. We spend many spring and fall mornings there, and this one was as enjoyable as any.
Hunting for birds

Found some!
He likes goats too.

Where's Andrew?

Our friend Aelyn came too.

From October: Pumpkin Patch

Towards the end of October, I realized that we hadn't yet hit up a pumpkin patch as a family. Since time was tight and Emma had already been to one on her school field trip, we went while she was at a birthday party. We missed her of course, but it was nice to spend time with the two little ones. They had a blast together.
Everyone loves a petting zoo!

From October: Kindergarten Field Trip

I was able to chaperone Emma's field trip to the pumpkin farm. Except in kindergarten there are so many parents that want to go that I only had Emma and one other girl! It was nice to take a break and spend time just with Emma. And it was a gorgeous day!

From October: Little Kickers Soccer

Both Emma and Madeline played soccer in October. I don't think it is necessarily the sport for either of them, though they both claimed to have fun!

From October: The Alamo

On Sunday morning, before we left San Antonio, we of course had to make a stop at the Alamo.

From October: Sea World

While in San Antonio we spent a Saturday at Sea World. As I had guessed, the kids loved it! The shows, the rides, though I think the best thing was what we did first: feeding the dolphins. The day was overcast and even slightly rainy at one point, but still warm enough to enjoy it all.
