Advent 2013, Day 5: Tree Lighting

Our original plan was to go to our local tree lighting ceremony, which we have enjoyed in years past. But about an hour before we were supposed to leave, a lovely sleet started to rain down. I'm not a big fan of driving on ice, so we opted to stay home. Luckily, it was the same night as the Rockefeller Tree Lighting was broadcast on TV, so we watched that instead. Not nearly as much fun, but much safer.
