February: Emma Makes It to the Zoo

Way back in December, Emma missed a trip to the zoo when she was really sick in the ER. She has been asking to go back since, and we finally took advantage of "penguin pricing" and went. The day was fairly mild and we had a fantastic time. (We have since renewed our zoo membership, so there will be more outings.)

They insist I take their pictures by the statues. 

The penguins were very active and swam over to say hello.

We must also climb the elephants every time...

...and feed the giraffes. 

But it is so worth the $5.00.
