Utah: Wednesday, 8/24

On Wednesday morning, my brother and sister had to move into their apartments in Provo, so those of us with kids had a slow morning before heading up to Park City to do a little outlet shopping. (The downside to this is that when you are traveling with 5 people and only 3 suitcases, there is no spare room for shopping!) It was fun to browse anyway. We met up with the Provo people for lunch at Cafe Rio. Then we headed to the Utah Olympic Park.

I decided on this trip that Park City is one of my favorite places in Utah. I loved the Olympic Park. While we were there, we got to see people practicing the ski jump into the pool.

Next we checked out the actual ski jumps:

Mom and sister Brittany

The kids got bored and started throwing rocks down the mountain.

The stroller brigade headed back up the mountain.
Tyler and Brittany with the Olympic Torch in the museum.

Emma and cousin Jordan
We checked out the bobsled tack too:
After an afternoon of fun, we went back to Salt Lake to spend a lovely evening with on of my best friends from BYU. Of course we had to get a picture of us with all of the kids.

In no particular order:

1. Look how adorable my belly is! It's less adorable now.

2. Look how white my legs are! They still are.

3. Talmage's comment when he saw this picture: "That's the girl who looked so cute in the zebra costume!"

4. I really think you guys should rethink Salt Lake as a permanent home. I know it's anti both of your personalities, but really, it's the best place to be.

5. I miss you.
