The girls lasted maybe 5 minutes outside? But at least no one cried this time. We don't have any real winter gear (like boots or waterproof gloves), so they got cold quickly, but still had fun. As for me, I'll take snow over ice any day.

Snow Day
We are stuck in a rare deep freeze (rare for North Texas, anyway), and are cooped up inside on day 2 of ice-covered roads. We got barely an inch on Tuesday morning, but it was pure ice and has caused a lot of problems. We did get some snow this year, though, last month. These pictures are from January 9th.

I'm hoping for a teensy bit of of that snow action. It just a little cold and we've been having rolling power outages. It's comical that Texas freaks out so much with a little snow and cold and ice.
