From May: Last Day of Preschool!

Preschool gets out nice and early--before Memorial Day! Emma got out on May 23rd. Her last day was filled with outdoor games. We took a picture with her teachers (forgot to do it on Graduation day) and went out for ice cream to celebrate!

From May: Emma's Preschool Graduation

Last May 18, Emma graduated from the Ark Preschool. She loved going and we all loved her teachers. But she was ready to go to kindergarten, so "graduation" was a happy day.

Reliving the Magic

One of Madeline and Emma's favorite attractions at Disney World was Philharmagic, a 3D movie that interweaves Mickey as a Fantasia-style conductor, Donald being Donald, and a handful of songs from Disney movies. We probably saw it 4 or 5 times. The day after we got home, Madeline lined up all of her stuffed animals as the audience and played Philharmagic on the stairs.

Disney, Day 5: Magic Kingdom

We spent our last day at Disney at our favorite place: the Magic Kingdom. Of course we had to get pictures of the last few characters we had missed, starting with Rapunzel:

Daisy:
and Pluto:
Through it all Andrew waited patiently:
We hit up all our favorite rides again. We especially enjoyed some of the new entertainment while waiting in line:

At last, it was time to go catch the bus to the airport. We finished with a trip around the park on the train:

Disney, Day 4: Hollywood Studios and EPCOT

The pictures are pretty sparse for day 4. We started the day at Hollywood Studios, where we mostly went to shows like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast onstage, and the Disney Junior show. The lack of pictures could also be due to the fact that sometime at Hollywood Studios I lost my phone and was very stressed. But, due to the wonders of Disney, I went back a few hours later and someone had turned it in!
Jake and the Neverland Pirates is a favorite these days!

We saw Mary Poppins in the England portion of Epcot.

We headed home early this evening to do the girls' favorite thing--play at the pool! But no pictures of that because I was too busy playing too.

Disney, Day 3: Magic Kingdom, With Princesses

On Thursday, May 10th we headed to the Magic Kingdom again. This time we had an appointment at the castle for a late breakfast. But we arrived early (because, let's face it, we are early-to-bed-early-to-rise kind of people, and we were at Disney! We can sleep when we're dead!) and started with some pictures of the castle.

Tinkerbell showed up!
We spent an hour or two going on rides in Fantasyland before our 10 am breakfast. On the way, to the castle, Andrew fell asleep.

Meeting Cinderella, our host. See Andrew totally out??

While the girls were busy chatting up princesses, this is what Andrew was doing:
Yes, I put my baby in a corner. On the floor. But he was on a blanket. And he got a great nap! After our brunch, we met up with a dance party.
