Reading and snuggling babies. We also watched a lot of movies, played games with the girls, and tried out new kinds of homemade ice cream. (Hey, what else can you do when it's over 100 degrees every day and you've got a newborn?) We loved every second of it! Come back whenever you can, Grandma!

How fun! Do you have an ice cream maker? Or did you make the ice cream in a ziplock inside another ziplock with ice?
Your Mom is beautiful, Jess! You are so very very lucky to have a mom that can visit you for that long.
I've been looking for some good, not too fattening, ice cream recipes for our ice cream maker. Any suggestions? :)
