A couple of weeks ago Emma ran a fever for a few days. It never really developed into anything, but she was listless and out of it, so we stayed in the house and spent most of the week watching movies and napping.
In the midst of her delirium on the worst day, we were snuggling on the couch. She turned to me out of the blue and asked, "What should we name our baby brother?"
I replied that I was still waiting to find out that it IS a baby brother.
She responded, "What about Nicholas?"
I have no idea where that came from. Ditto where the name came from--it's not on my list of favorites and I don't think she even knows a Nicholas.

Adorable. Kids do say the craziest things, huh??
When my niece found out she was going to be a big sister, she said she wanted a "pink sister..." She got a brother with brown hair. ;)
Well, if she's right and it ends up being a boy...you'll have to name him Nicholas!
