Mia Mia!*

Our sweet little friend Mia came over today to play with us while her father graduated from law school at NYU.

We met Mia's parents the week we moved to Jersey, when they were brand new, too. We became fast friends. Then in April 2006 I was sitting in the back of RS at Church, sneaking some goldfish crackers because I was pregnant and hungry. Apparently I wasn't being all that inconspicuous because Mia's mom, Lisa, saw me, sat next to me, and whipped out her own bag of goldfish. Mia was born 10 days after Emma, and we've had a fun time with these girls. They finally know how to say each other's names and play together very well. We are going to miss Mia Mia when she moves to Cali on Friday.
*MiaMia is how Emma says Mia's name. The picture isn't the greatest because it's hard to get two toddlers, one of whom really misses her mommy, in the same place at the same time.

Hey, y'all...

Just practicing my Texan drawl...

We never heard from you guys if you are coming over this weekend for the engagement party? I know we sent you an invite. However, two families have told us they JUST GOT THEM LAST WEEK. Ugh.

Did you ever meet Dustin? Come hang out...stay the night. We would love to have ya.

Yahoo! Coming to Texas, huh!? How exciting! We'll be headed back that direction once Nathan finishes Flight School, but we'll be in San Antonio most likely. I miss Texas.
