Advent: Bring Treats to Friends

We hosted a wonderful party for our neighbors (of which I neglected to get any pictures!), which left lots of goodies to take to friends. Dave and the girls went on the delivery circuit one Sunday afternoon.

Advent: Christmas Music

We spent one evening listening to some new (to the kids) Christmas music: the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We watched their Christmas special on PBS. Their favorite is the Christmas Canon.

Advent: Christmas Cards

One weekday afternoon in December, we set about to work on Christmas cards. The girls drew their own cards while I addressed our family cards.

Advent: Christmas Devotional

A few days after the fact, the girls and I watched President Monson's talk from the Christmas Devotional.

Andrew: 5 Months

Okay, so technically as I post this, Andrew is 6 months old, but I never posted his 5 month pictures. Here he is in all of his adorable  5 month glory.

Loves:
--Sucking on his thumb!
--Sucking on pretty much anything

Hates:
--Waiting for food
--Being in one spot for too long

--Rolled over, front to back
--Thanksgiving

Personality Notes:
--The wonderful sleeping continues. I am one happy mama.
--He prefers sleeping on his tummy, and can often be seen (on the video monitor) face down, bum in the air. But if he's really really tired, he conks out without rolling over.
--He thinks his sisters are funny.

Advent: Decorate the Tree

We decorated our tree on the first Sunday of December, having procured it the day before. I have no pictures of either getting the tree or the actual decorating, but here is the finished product about a week before Christmas:
