Madeline's latest obsession is getting into the cabinets. I've been lazy about getting actual locks (with the exception of the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink), but I do have most of the cabinets closed with rubberbands, which have worked so far to keep out curious little hands. The one cabinet I leave open is my baking cabinet, and Maddie enjoys strewing bags of chocolate chips and marshmallows around the kitchen floor. But today I found her like this:
Apparently there was an open bag of Hershey kisses, and Maddie managed to get the foil wrapping off one so she could eat it! I was amazed that her little hands are so dextrous, and relieved that she didn't swallow any wrappers. I suppose chocolate is one way to
get her weight up!

So funny! Now you may never find your chocolate . . . wait until she learns how to create her own little stashes - from yours :)
I love her impish ways... Can't believe she is coordinated enough to unwrap the kisses. I see a future in brain surgery ...
