Random Tidbits

*Countdown until Dave takes the TX bar: 2 days. Ack!

*Thursday morning I woke up with a nasty stomach virus and spent most of the day worried that I'd have to go to the hospital because I was so dehydrated. I was able to keep a few ounces of ginger ale down before going to bed at 9 pm, only to be woken up an hour later by Emma crying because she had gotten sick. I have really gotten to know the "sanitize" setting on my washing machine.

*Saturday morning the cub scouts from our church came by the neighborhood collecting food. I had seen the announcement in the ward bulletin and knew they were coming, but I didn't recognize the two kids at my door. Emma, however, shows up at the door and one of them says, "It's Emma's house!" Yes folks, it's official, my two-year-old is more popular than I am. It was bound to happen sometime.

*In addition to our first night up with a vomiting kid, we also experienced our first in-the-middle-of-sacrament-meeting barf. It was awesome. Needless to say we hightailed it home soon afterward.

*Is it March yet???

Hooray for Dave almost being done!!! I can't imagine studying for the bar while working! He'll do great! And we hope you all get over that nasty stomach bug real quick (and we'll pray Dave doesn't catch it!! That would not be good!!) Miss you all!

I thought it might be an appropriate time to share my best throw up story:

I was shopping at Costco for 100 hot dogs for New Beginnings night. I had also had to run all over the city for paper products and 18 month old Talmage was a bit fussy. I put him on my shoulders to keep him a bit entertained.

I'm sure you can guess the punch line.

I haven't even thought about how my kids will be more popular than me. wow...ur right...soon it'll be known as Nina's or Sayuri's house.
I don't want them to grow up so fast.
Hope ya'll are feeling better.

STOMACH FLU! We all got it at my grandmother's 90th b-day. The kind where you barf over and over again. Yeah. The entire family.

My grandma said--I want everyone at my birthday more than my funeral. We were wondering if she would catch it and die the next week. Morbid, but true. (She's fine, btw, and I love her so much)

Good luck to Dave, and good luck to you trying to hold it together until his exam is finished!

Also--how do you know Laura? Seriously--this is funny. We were roommates in Jerusalem. You and I were roommates in London. I also discovered you're friends with Wendy, so this is just funny. Of course, you go to BYU and there is going to be this overlap. I love making these connections!

I hope you get better soon. G2 (gatorade, less sugary) and the BRAT diet (Banana, Rice, Applesauce, Toast).

((((sending positive thoughts your way)))

Hope the exam went well and also that your sick household is feeling better. do you have the front loadign washer and dryer? if so, so do i and that sanitize option takes forever long! I've used it a couple of times but i swear the cycle is 2 hours! Anyway- maybe it is the way to go for getting a good clean sanitizing outcome!
