Wow! That's a girl that really enjoys her spaghetti. It's awesome. And I'm with Maile, it took Pippi FOREVER to get out of the full-sensory eating, but I think it must make them very smart and very creative and quite willing to try new things.

NO it doesn't!! I find myself planning meals around a "messy factor" and if I have time for a bath afterwards!! HA!!! =)

While it was rather obnoxious and messy for Talmage to be independent, I'm grateful for a 2 year old who feeds himself now.
And no, the messy doesn't go away. Now Talmage just gets angry at the mess he creates.
It's rough being a toddler.
