For Emma's 6th birthday, we did a cooking party. Emma invited her friends from school. It was a very busy but fun couple of hours.

From October: Halloween

At our house, we go the classic route and go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood on Halloween. This was Andrew's first year to technically go, though he was only allowed four houses. He broke protocol by running into our neighbor's house to find the dog that he heard barking. (I suppose that means we chose the right costume for him). Here is a pic of the crew on their way out:

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you know that the Dallas Arboretum is one of our favorite places. We spend many spring and fall mornings there, and this one was as enjoyable as any.
